I have had a number of mobile phones over the last few years, as I am sure many people have, and while none have been especially extraordinary, some have most definitely been crap. The main problem I have ever had with my mobile phones has been with the battery. The cell phone battery has either stopped working or it just would not last long enough and I would need to get and carry a replacement battery.

I tend to use my mobile phone heaps, both for work and for private use, so having a second battery is often worthwhile but having to replace a faulty or damaged battery is so annoying. My newest phone is working well but I would like a replacement battery for those times when I am travelling.

So I suppose the right question is do I spend the money purchasing a new Samsung SCH-U340 cellular phone battery or do I just purchase a new phone with a better battery? Replacement batteries are very low cost but a new phone would be great. I must make a decision…

I have bought a number of cellular phones over recent years, as I am sure many people have, and while none have been that brilliant, some have most definitely been rubbish. The only problem I have ever had with my cellular phones has been with the batteries. The battery has either died or it just would not last long enough and I would need to buy and carry a replacement battery.

I always use my mobile phone often, both for my work and for personal use, so having a backup battery is often worth it but having to replace a faulty or damaged battery is disappointing. My newest phone is working fine but I would like a replacement battery for those times when I am not in the office.

These are the details of my most current phone (yeah, I know it is a bit old, I really should find a new mobile phone):

Motorola Razr V3 (Dragon Tattoo)

Note: This product is part of the Motorola Razr series. .

Quick take: The Motorola Razr V3 - Dragon Tattoo for T-Mobile is part of Motorola’s Miami Ink collection, along with the Motorola Razr V3 - Cherry Blossom Tattoo. While the gray phone sports a designer print on its exterior, its features are similar to the original Motorola Razr V3. Read our review of Cingular’s Razr V3 for a full assessment.

So I suppose the real question is do I spend the money buying a new Motorola Razr V3 (Dragon Tattoo) cellular phone battery or do I just purchase a new phone with a better performing battery? Replacement batteries are very cheap but a new phone would be fun. I must make a decision…

I have bought a number of mobile phones over the years, as I am sure most people have, and while none have been that amazing, some have most definitely been crap. The only problem I have ever had with my cellular phones has been with the batteries. I generally use my cell phone often, both for work and for personal use, so having a second battery is often worth it but having to replace a faulty or damaged battery is aggravating. My current phone is working ok but I would like a replacement battery for when I am on the road.

Verizon Wireless

variety of physical locations, we do not rate wireless carriers. We can, however, tell you everything you need to know about the major carriers. We invite your feedback and ratings in our User opinions section–the more input we get from around the U.S., the better our users can evaluate coverage at a national level.

Verizon Wireless is the largest CDMA carrier in the United States. It was one of the first to offer a 3G network, and it recently launched the first mobile TV network for a carrier. A joint venture between Verizon Communications and Vodafone, Verizon Wireless was formed in 2000 through a merger between GTE Wireless and Bell Atlantic; Verizon was the largest carrier in the country until Cingular acquired AT&T Wireless in 2004. Although its phone lineup was once limited and somewhat ordinary, in the past year it has grown rapidly to include several popular, high-end handsets.

Things you should know:

High-speed 3G networks are limited to urban areas.
Verizon was slow to introduce Bluetooth into its phone lineup and still limits the Bluetooth profiles in some handsets by restricting file transfers.
Uses BREW instead of Java for games and other applications, which can limit the number of choices available to consumers.
Uses a standardized–but somewhat poorly received–menu interface across most of its phones.
Verizon claims it has the most reliable network nationwide, and the network quality has been rated highly in consumer and analyst studies. Tell us what you think in our User opinions section.
Offers a wide selection of LG phones, including the LG enV and LG Chocolate, and is the only major carrier to offer Kyocera phones. Its smart phone selection is varied and includes Treos and BlackBerrys.
As a CDMA carrier, Verizon’s international coverage is limited to a handful of countries.

So for now the true question is do I spend the money getting a new Samsung SGH-C417 - cellular phone with digital camera - GSM cellular phone battery or do I just buy a new phone with a longer life battery? Replacement batteries are quite inexpensive but a new phone would be great. I must make a decision…

I have had plenty of cellular phones over the last few years, as I am sure everyone has, and while none have been that outstanding, some have absolutely been crap.
